Posters are a powerful medium for social change. A megaphone for dreamers, the frustrated, and the oppressed, they serve as a record of societies’ struggles for peace, social justice, and political reform. Their sharp messages and arresting imagery make them extremely effective in raising awareness and influencing opinion, and thus they remain one of the most persuasive and resonant tools with which artists drive social change.
As part of this year-long campaign, Impact Hub Yerevan implemented an anti-corruption poster competition and exhibition in collaboration with curator/artist Samvel Saghatelian. The competition garnered participation from over 70 artists around the world, from Gyumri to El Salvador and Belgium to New York. From these submissions, the works of 35 artists were selected for display at the poster exhibition.
You can view all the posters included in the exhibition in this GALLERY.
